The Dordogne has some fascinating attractions, restaurants and many local activities for you to explore
The area of the Dordogne can only be described as one of exceptional beauty. This property is situated in the Vezere Valley, which is home to the 16 sites that make up the UNESCO World Heritage listings for the area.
Within easy travelling are the towns of Montignac, Sarlat, Domme, La Roque Gageac, Beynac and Castlenaud. Further afield (90 mins) is Rocamadour, billed as the second site of France.
Local places of interest include, La Roque St Christophe and the sites of Les Eyzies.
There are many Chateaux nearby that are open to the public. Many caves can be visited, including Lascaux and the stunning Font De Gaume and Gouffre De Padirac.
